The village of Ravne is located in the municipality of Vareš.
Funding for the construction of the mosque was secured by the Waqf Directorate and the Majlis of the Islamic Community in Vareš through waqif donors from the humanitarian organization "Insan" from Kuwait. The agreement for the construction was signed on December 27, 2021, and the foundation stone was laid on February 2, 2022. The completion of the works is expected in 2025.
