The construction of a mosque in Turići, near Busovača, will provide 100 muslim families with an adequate space for ibadat and religious education for their children. The mosque, covering an area of 154 m², will include a prayer hall, a classroom, an ablution area, a mortuary, and a boiler room. Previously, there was no mosque in this area, and a nearby maktab (small mosque without a minarat) was used for religious activities and education.
The project is currently in the phase of obtaining the necessary documentation, while the laying of the foundation stone and the commencement of construction are expected in 2025. The construction of the mosque is funded by the Association for Well-being (Rahma International).
The project implementation agreement was signed on February 5, 2025.
